Taylor Graduated from Kindergarten on June 11. It is a Big deal here! The Kindergarteners put on a program, showing the parents all the songs they've learned for the year (many that include concepts they learned in class). It was very well done. We were surprised by all the songs Taylor knew, but hadn't sung at home.
Seeing Taylor and the boy he has become brought tears to my eyes. All of a sudden an overwhelming sense of gratitude filled my heart- gratitude for the good child he is and that he is part of our family. Accompanied with that gratitude was fear- for his future and all the challenges he will face- many that I never experienced. How will we teach him everything he needs to endure? Parenting is so hard!
