Another Tire?

Never before have we considered purchasing "road hazard" protection on our tires...... until we moved to Philadelphia. In the last two months we have ruined two tires. The first was definitely avoidable and due to getting used to driving a bigger car. The second tire was from a break in the curb- slicing the side wall of our tire as we parallel parked. The roads here are horrible as well. Potholes, construction dips, and debris are unavoidable. Now that our tires are covered under "road hazard" we won't have any more problems, right???????

Soccer

Here's the soccer troup this year. Cole and Taylor are on the same team and Troy is the coach.
Taylor enjoys the game and keeps up pretty well. He is more confident in getting into the crowd to kick the ball and hopes to score a goal before the season is over.
Being one of the youngest on the team, Cole is a little overwhelmed by the pack of kids chasing the ball around the field. He is often found "hanging out" around the goal.

Cutting the Grass

Cole wanted to cut the grass. We have a patch of onion grass that grows really fast so he wanted to make it short like the rest of the lawn. We're just grateful he wasn't asking to cut hair or clothes.

General Conference

It has been a blessing to watch and listen to our Prophet, Apostles, and other Leaders of the Church the last two days. One of my favorite talks was President Monson's on Change. If you missed listening or viewing General Conference, you can check it out here: http://www.lds.org/broadcast/gc/0,5161,8176,00.html

New Temple

We are SOOOOOOO excited that a new Temple will be built in the Philadelphia Area. Although we may not be here to enjoy this blessing, it will benefit many faithful members in this area. For Saints who do not have a car, it will make Temple Service easier.
