Palmyra, NY
We traveled to Palmyra, NY to see the Hill Cummorah Pageant and visit Church History sites. We went to the Sacred Grove, the Joseph Smith Home, tried to go to the Temple, attended Church, and several other historical sites within Palmyra. On the way home we stopped to see the Priesthood Commemoration site on the banks of the Susquahannah River. This was located next to a Cemetery where Joseph and Emma's first child was buried along with Emma's parents.

Sounds like a fun trip. We went through that same area several years ago and thought it was beautiful - so green. Lots of cool history in that area.
Beautiful scenery. What a great trip to take the kids and teach them about church history.
Hi, Sherrie! It's Elizabeth (Pate) Hill from NC. We live near Nauvoo. It's so cool to go to church history sites with kids, huh? What a beautiful family!
